What experience do I need to become a Bingle Vet Clinics veterinary franchise owner?
We seek candidates that have a background in veterinary medicine, and welcome professionals who are at any stage in their careers, whether recent graduates, or current clinic operators and owners. We are also open to discussing opportunities to operate franchised clinics with entrepreneurial investors who would partner with a licensed veterinarian. Applicable law may require that a franchisee (and/or a franchisee’s managing owner and/or clinic manager) be a licensed veterinarian, and we require that each Bingle Vet Clinics at all times employ at least one licensed veterinarian. We prefer franchisees who will be dedicated owner-operators in the clinic business, who are involved in the community and committed to giving back – all important to our core philosophy. Of course, we’ll provide the training, tools, and guidance you need to operate your veterinary franchise effectively.
What is provided as part of the Bingle Vet Clinics veterinary franchise opportunity?
We will provide initial training for clinic owners and clinic managers, at both our training facilities and in the field. Ongoing support and refresher training will also be available. And, of course, we will provide a copy of our confidential operations manual to help with daily clinic operations.
What is the initial investment needed to begin operating a Bingle Vet Clinics franchise?
The total initial investment for a Bingle Vet Clinics franchise is estimated to range from $542,000 to $815,500, including a $39,500 initial franchise fee. As with any new venture, it’s important to have adequate capital to fund the initial business growth stages.
Is financing available?
No. We do not provide direct financing to franchisees, but we may refer to financing sources on a case by case basis.
Are there ongoing fees to pay?
We charge a royalty fee equal to 6% of gross revenues, and there are other ongoing fees to be paid in addition to the royalty fee. For a complete list of fees, please refer to our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD). These fees allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of product and supply channels, marketing tools, training programs, and systems upgrades.
Are there any advertising fees?
Franchisees will be required to spend a minimum amount on grand opening advertising and 2% of their clinic’s prior months’ gross revenues on local marketing activities in their territories. Franchisees must also contribute up to 2% of monthly gross revenues into the system marketing fund. Collected system marketing funds will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote the Bingle Vet Clinics brand and fund the creative costs to develop marketing materials and campaigns.
What is the term of the agreement?
The initial term of your agreement is seven years, with two subsequent successor agreement options of five years each if you comply with our renewal requirements.
